2. Kronologika

The Invisibles è strutturata in 3 ‘serie’ rispettivamente di 25, 22 e 12 numeri.

Due storie brevi (fuori continuity) sono apparse negli speciali Vertigo: Winter’s Edge #1 e in Absolute Vertigo.

In Vertigo: Winter’s Edge #2 vi sono due pagine con i personaggi di King Mob e Fanny da ritagliare, inserite sia nei trade paperback successivi che nelle edizioni italiane.

La terza serie è numerata in senso decrescente, partendo dal n.12 per terminare al n.1.

Data di Pubblicazione della serie originale: Settembre 1994 (1.1) - Giugno 2000 (3.1).

In inglese si utilizza la parola "volume" per indicare le diverse serie e "paperback" per indicare i volumi raccolta. Per non creare confusione con la terminologia, ho utilizzato esclusivamente il termine "serie". Inoltre ho indicato i singoli albi con una numerazione nel formato "[serie].[numero]", vale a dire che il numero 2.12 indicherà, ad esempio, il numero 12 della seconda serie. Ho utilizzato inoltre la dizione "[serie].X" ad indicare la totalità degli albi di una serie (ad esempio, 2.X indica tutta la seconda serie).

Reperibilità

Ottima per quanto riguarda i trade paperbacks originali, sempre presenti nella sezione DC Comics/Vertigo Backlist di Previews. Al momento ottima anche per l’edizione italiana: se non trovate i volumi nella vostra fumetteria (che può comunque ordinarvi tutti e tre i volumi) potete anche richiederli direttamente alla Magic Press.

Più difficile la reperibilità dei singoli albi della serie originale, per altro contenenti svariate chiavi di lettura e importanti delucidazioni nelle varie colonne della posta curata direttamente dall’autore. Sono eventualmente rintracciabili i numeri più recenti. Il prezzo dei singoli albetti non dovrebbe comunque avere raggiunto livelli da collezionista.
